Cedar Valley United Way leads annual campaigns that fuel life-changing programs across our region, but our work goes far beyond fundraising. Our mission is to understand and respond to the complex, ever-changing needs of people throughout the Cedar Valley. We serve as a trusted convener, resource organizer, and community problem-solver, bringing partners together and directing support where it can make the greatest impact.
Through a thoughtful and collaborative funding process, our volunteers and staff evaluate community needs and carefully review local agencies and programs. This approach helps build and sustain a strong, effective safety net for individuals and families. By aligning dollars, volunteer time, and in-kind resources with the areas of greatest need, we ensure contributions are used wisely and strategically, helping make the Cedar Valley an even stronger place to live, work, and raise a family.
