DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY IMPACT AND ENGAGEMENT

(Full-Time)

Location: On-Site; Waterloo, Iowa (One remote day per week)

About Cedar Valley United Way:

Cedar Valley United Way brings people together to create lasting change in our community. We mobilize resources, partners, and volunteers to address our community’s most pressing health and human service needs and improve lives. We are a small but mighty team that values collaboration, creativity, and relationship-building.

Cedar Valley United Way seeks a driven and innovative professional to provide leadership and coordination for our Community Impact work, including grantmaking and grant administration. This position will lead the implementation of strategies, including coordination of our volunteer impact teams, to achieve the goals of collective community impact throughout the Cedar Valley. This position also conducts ongoing community research and data gathering that targets specific populations as well as the general public to inform the community impact process. The Director of Community Impact and Engagement will establish and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers and community members as well as assist with resource development campaigns. 

Qualifications:

Excellent communication, organization, relationship-building and strategic planning skills are required, as well as the ability to work with diverse groups. 

A bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in grant administration and/or developing partnerships and collaborative relationships is preferred. 

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience and background. Competitive benefit package is included. ($54,000-$62,000)
