Cedar Valley United Way partners with 61 programs at 36 different organizations in our community fighting to improve health, education, financial stability and emergency and basic needs.
Whether it is a neighbor without health insurance, a victim of abuse, or someone struggling with mental illness or an addiction, United Ways are working to ensure everyone has access to affordable and quality care.
There may be a time that you or someone you know needs help, but don’t know exactly what kind of assistance is available – let alone how to access it. 211 can assist by help clarify your personal situation and then utilize an extensive up-to-date database to determine the best resource(s) for you. 211 is a free, comprehensive information and referral system linking Iowa and Nebraska residents to health and human service programs, community services, disaster services and governmental programs.
We understand that many of our neighbors in our community continue to struggle with daily hardships—whether that’s too little food, looming evictions or limited access to health care. And, we’re fighting day in and day out to combat these hardships.
