Cedar Valley United Way Offering Grant Funding to Help Families Build Savings
WATERLOO, IA –Cedar Valley United Way is seeking proposals from qualified not-for profit organizations who can successfully demonstrate how they will support individuals and families to create and adhere to a personal savings plan to help them avoid future financial crisis. An investment of up to $20,000 will be made through the Building Savings Project for the funding year of 2011-2012.
Any program or collaborating programs seeking to partner with Cedar Valley United Way for funding must have a single sponsoring not-for-profit organization as their fiscal agent and take place within a 30 mile radius of Waterloo/Cedar Falls.
Each sponsoring organization will also need to complete a partner profile. The RFP and partner profile are available online at www.cedarvalleyunitedway.org/fundedpartnerinfo.html.
