2009-2010 Funding Application

WATERLOO, IA – Cedar Valley United Way is now accepting applications for funding for the 2009-2010 funding year. To be considered, programs must target one of three funding areas: helping children & youth succeed, supporting vulnerable populations or promoting self-sufficiency & poverty reduction.

Any program or collaborating programs seeking funding must have a single sponsoring 501c3 as their fiscal agent. To be considered for funding, the program must take place within a 30 mile radius of Waterloo/Cedar Falls.

Each sponsoring agency will need to complete a partner profile and application each application year. Applications are available online at www.cedarvalleyunitedway.org. Each program seeking funding will need to complete a separate application.

Twelve copies of each application and one electronic copy and two copies of the partner profile must be turned in to Cedar Valley United Way for consideration by 2 p.m., Dec. 5, 2008. Application workshops will be held Wednesday, October 22 from 3 to 5 p.m. and Thursday, October 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. for any agency that is planning on completing an application at the Cedar Valley United Way office in the Philanthropy Center, 425 Cedar Street, Waterloo.
