Grant Investment Applications Being Accepted

Cedar Valley United Way is now accepting grant investment applications for funding for the 2012-2014 funding year. To be considered, programs must target one of three funding areas, income, education or health, to advance the common good of the Cedar Valley.

Any program or collaborating programs seeking funding must have a single sponsoring not-for-profit agency as their fiscal agent. To be considered for funding, the program must take place within a 30 mile radius of Waterloo/Cedar Falls.

Application workshops for agencies interested in applying for funding are being offered Friday, January 6. Space is currently available at the 7 to 9 a.m. workshop and the 5 to 7 p.m. workshop. To reserve a seat, RSVP to kelly.knott@cvuw.org.

Each sponsoring agency will need to complete an application for each program for which they are seeking funding along with a partner profile of the organization.

Twelve copies of each investment application and two partner profiles and all support materials must be turned in to Cedar Valley United Way for consideration by 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 15. In addition, an electronic copy of the investment application must be submitted to kelly.knott@cvuw.org by 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 15.
