Campaign Checklist
Use this list to help organize your Cedar Valley United Way campaign.
Pre-Campaign- Meet with a Cedar Valley United Way representative to plan strategies for your campaign. If you have not been contacted, please feel free to call the Cedar Valley United Way office (319-235-6211) to help plan a campaign.
- Complete Campaign Information Sheet and return to the Cedar Valley United Way.
- Familiarize yourself with the Cedar Valley United Way and its supported programs.
- Meet with CEO to confirm commitment and agreement to send letters of endorsement to employees.
- Recruit and train your campaign team.
- Set goal and develop timeline.
- Personalize pledge forms with employee’s name. (Optional)
- Publicize campaign and kick-off event.
During Campaign
- Kick off your campaign.
- Begin group meetings and /or one-on-one solicitation.
- Publicize mid-campaign report results with employees and your Cedar Valley United Way representative.
- Wrap up, complete paperwork and account for all pledge forms.
After Campaign
- Tabulate results and submit completed campaign envelope to the Cedar Valley United Way.
- Give payroll deduction forms to your payroll department and have employees keep their copy.
- Publicize your campaign results.
- Send a thank-you or conduct a thank-you program for all contributors.
- Evaluate your campaign with your team members and write a report for next year while activities are still fresh in you mind.
