Every day your friends, family and neighbors are living united. They realize the way we live our lives can impact the way others live theirs – their education, their income, even their health. You can join them and LIVE UNITED by supporting Cedar Valley United Way.

Cedar Valley United Way is focused on the basic things we all need for a good life:

Education—Helping children and youth achieve their potential
Income—Promoting financial stability and independence
Health—Improving people’s health and decreasing risky behavior

By focusing on these building blocks, United Way aims to make things better for us all. That’s what LIVE UNITED is all about. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable and when people have good health. By mobilizing the caring power of our community, Cedar Valley United Way connects everyone’s resources collaboratively to tackle these issues. The goal is to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place.

As the past year has shown, you never know what challenges our community may face in the future. United Way supported programs provide an invaluable service, making the Cedar Valley a stronger community. Last year over $2 million in funding was distributed by Cedar Valley United Way to local, human service programs. Even with this record funding, there was over $1 million of unmet needs.

Cedar Valley United Way and the programs it supports are working hard to create a brighter future for us all. But they can’t do it without our support and involvement.
