Cedar Valley United Way Appoints Officers and Board Members

WATERLOO, IA— The Cedar Valley United Way Board of Directors elected new officers at its annual meeting. Officers for 2014 are Sharon Juon, community leader, chairman of the board; Joe Vich, Community Bank & Trust, vice-chair; Cal Eckhoff, Black Hawk Union Council, Universal Industries, secretary; Sue Armbrecht, MidWestOne Bank, treasurer; and Vicki Grimes, community leader, past chair.

Board members elected to new terms include: Cynthia Bottrell, Hawkeye Community College, representing the Community Impact Team for Education; Nick Cleveland, Target Distribution Center; Cary Darrah, Cedar Valley TechWorks; Eckhoff; Wayne Frost, community leader, representing the Community Impact Team for Income; Chris Hyers, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, representing the Community Impact Team for Health; Marc Leyh, UAW Local 838, John Deere Waterloo Operations; Dr. Jane Lindeman, Waterloo Community Schools; Jim McKernan, KWWL, and Jason Witham, Witham Auto Centers.
